Man! What a difference a decent gun belt makes! I recently purchased this black 1.75" gun belt on the advice of a friend. All I can say is, "Why didn't I do this sooner?"
I wore it today with my full size carry pistol on the right, and a small pocket pistol holstered on the left. Not once did I have to hike up my pants! Previously, I felt like I was having to do this about every five minutes.
I am 100% satisfied with this belt. Simply awesome!
The belt stays stiff, the leather does not wear or get scratched, and the buckle is solid. This is the perfect belt. It's a shame it's all sold out, I would purchase more for when this one inevitably wears down.
Great belt!!!! I've been concealed carrying and open carrying with my regular belts for a long time, now can say I'll never wear another belt unless it comes from 5.11! I bought mine a little too small, but that is my fault. I'm a 34 and should have got a large. Anyways, this belt is great looking, well made, and comfortable. I'm extremely happy with it!
I like the belt a lot. I have had it almost a year, and it's been subjected to lots of abuse. I wear this belt on the motorcycle because it is the only belt I've found that can support all the things I wear on my person when on the bike.
I had thought until last week that it was more indestructible than any other piece of clothing I had, including 511 pants. The belt has nearly broken now, at the smallest setting (I lost some weight, and the belt became a little large but with the loops it worked fine). This means that the belt works, but feels like it's in two pieces now rather than one. I do not feel safe on the motorcycle with the belt anymore. If I came off the bike, I am concerned that the belt might deform or break, causing my armor and jacket to move around during a hard fall, and might result in my armor and overpants moving when I most need them. I will note, though, that I went down in a gravel pit about six months ago, and the belt held fine. However, back then it didn't "click" when I bent it.
I had been thinking of getting the operator belt because it looks sturdier. However, I like to have a low profile in the office, and everybody knows what a d-ring belt is. It's very "not casual."
I'll look around to see if someone else is selling something similar. If not, I may just buy another, and I would add "price" as a complaint at that point.
Great Concealed Carry Belt (using it with a full size XDM). Perfect amount of stiffness. Looks great - not obvious that it is for CC. Well done...
Within two minutes of putting this belt on for the first time, the leather cracked and the exterior finish of the belt flaked off. I was incredibly disappointed. The belt is rigid enough and the hidden cuff key pocket is a neat idea but overall the finish of the belt is horrible.
The 1.75" Plain Leather Belt is perfect it holds my holster nice and tight to my body the way it should be
GREAT PRODUCT Thank You 5.11
I have used whatever belts I had in the past and ended up hiking my pants up from my full size .45 pulling them down. This rigid belt is great, looks good, and I did not have to readjust my pistol once while wearing it all day long. It is rather thick, it fits on my pants but is tight in the loops and my holster, but I like it.
It is so rigid it does take an extra few seconds while putting it on, it may break in, we will see.
I bought this belt to replace a Bianchi that I had worn out. I carry a firearm everyday for work and personal protection. The belt looks professional for work use as well as provides great support for a vairety of firearms.
Great for casual wear with khakis or jeans. Good fit and look.
