Leave it to 5.11 Tactical Series to listen to officers about their needs in the area of plainclothes and undercover wear. Our Leather Belt is made for everyday-casual but we’ve added special features for carrying your sidearm comfortably and safely. The Leather Belt is 1-3/4” wide, made of full grain leather and has a Permastiff™ insert to provide stability for the weight of your pistol. We’ve also added a hidden cuff key keeper on the back of the inside of the Leather Belt. Brown belts come with a 5.11 branded brass plated buckle and the black belts include a nickel-plated buckle. Each buckle features 5.11’s “I-Beam” construction for rugged durability. The stitched leather belts feature tone-on-tone stitching while the contrast-stitched belt has more visible stitching. With sizes from small to 4XL we’ve got the Leather Belt for you.

It's been a year and a half since I bought this belt and I were it every day. it holds my .357 firmly in place making for a reliable draw. It has yet to show any signs of warping, or wear-rot. bottom line is it's the best investment I've made in a while.

This is my first gun belt and wow, what a difference over a 'normal' leather belt. Two of my holsters for a Springfield Armory XD SubCompact and XD-M pistol are worlds different now... I had written these holsters off as worthless freebies until I put them in their proper place: the guns now sit secure at my side without tipping outward. Money well spent, and I essentially got 2 new holsters out of the deal!

Good looking belt

As my other reviews note, I'm not in Law Enforcement, nor does MD allow concealed carry. However, I really like this Ranger style belt. It could easily be used for concealed carry as stout as it is. It is also high quality and durable. Very comfortable to wear and quite sharp looking. I wear it as a dress belt as well as casual.

Excellent Plainclothes belt

I recently obtained a plainclothes LE job that requires wearing a Glock, mags, radio, and cuffs. I bought the 1.75" basket stamp belt and have been well satisfied with it. It is as stiff as any custom leather belt I have bought in the past and at a fraction of the cost. I did not like the spare key pouch on the back of the belt and removed it. Other that that small issue I would say BUY IT!

I needed a belt that was strong and durable. I went through so many belts from walmart and other department stores and they constantly broke. This belt is think but still comfortable.
