The 1.75 inch 5.11 Operator Belt provides law enforcement, military and fire professionals with a high quality and secure belt for use in almost any environment. The operator belt has a solid stainless steel, low profile buckle that has a 6000lb rating. With a quick click of a carabineer, the operator belt can be used for support in extreme emergency climbing situations (only to be used in emergencies, the operator belt is not designed as a climbing harness). The durable nylon webbing locks securely in the belt buckle and is additionally locked with a Velcro® locking system. The operator belt can accommodate most off duty holsters and will not lose its shape even after repeated use. Comments about 5.11 Tactical Operator Belt - 1 3/4" Wide:
This belt along with the Trainer Belt are great for use with a holster or just as an every day belt. Surprisingly enough I get a lot of compliments on the looks of it from older female patients I take care of (just goes to show how good it looks). The belts are super tough. Just make sure you get the correct size (1.5" vs 1.75") to go with the holsters and gear that you have. Check out my video review of them for more details. I recommend them without reservation.

Excellent belt!

This belt exceeded my expectations! It is the perfect operational belt. It is stiff enough to put a lot of stuff on, and strong & secure enough to hold all of your gear on it. Like I said, it's very secure. It has never loosened on me at all, the way the belt goes through the buckle, along with the Velcro, makes it extremely secure. The buckle is very flat and doesn't feel weird if you lay down to shoot or whatever. It has no pattern on the buckle like the TDU belt so it can be worn with the shirt tucked in or untucked. I would not wear it every day though, it is lightweight *for what it is*, it is not light enough to wear whenever, at least that's my opinion.

If you wish to use this belt for daily use, be sure to buy pants with 1 3/4" belt loops. My first operator belt had the velcro plush wear out after 9 years of daily use.
