When operators told us that they wanted a hard knuckle glove, we answered the challenge and created the HardTime. Starting with the excellent fit and performance of our Tac AK2, made with Kevlar® fabric, we added our ergonomic articulated hard knuckle plates. Instead of a single piece covering all four knuckles, our two plates flex with your hand, each covering two knuckles and improving your comfort, dexterity, and performance while protecting your knuckles from impact. Tough thermoplastic plates are padded on the hand side and covered with a durable subdued finish TPR laminate on the business side. Our HardTime gloves give you so much confidence, you'll have to resist the temptation to punch the nearest wall when you put them on!

Great Gloves

The dye gets on hands from interior lining, but I really do not think you can do much about that. Gloves fit tight and that is a good thing. I use them to protect my hands when tracking with or without a dog. Great for controlling a dog lead and good protection if dog pull hands against objects. I used a generic hand sizing chart and mine fit fine. I do product testing and these gloves are great so far. Very comfortable.

Another great Glove!

I have no complaints with these gloves! They are awesome! The only thing I'll say is they run small. I usually wear large gloves, but an X-Large would have fit a lot better. I expect they will stretch out and fit just fine. Thanks for continuing to make great new products!

Great Glove, However...

The gloves fit great and seem durable. My only beef with the design is that the glove does not work with a touch screen. This makes these gloves behind the times. Can't use with touch screen phone, gps, or tablet. Bummer. Other wise they are great! If only I did not have to remove the gloves just to simply answer my phone. Someone should really come up with an adhesive fingerprint that makes touch screen operating possible.

I am a big fan of 5.11 and am consistently impressed with there products. HOWEVER, I have owend these glove for less than a week and already the stitching at the wrist under the base of the thumb-on both gloves- has busted. And not from abusive pulling on and off or use. The "authorized dealer" had there tailors stitch the first one on Friday, and I will be returning tomorrow [Monday] to get the second "blowout" mended. very disappointed... I have used them OTJ and for riding [motorcycle], but nothing heavy that would truly require a rugged glove. The dexterity is superb. Great for the vibrations of the bike, excellent protection from debree, and I can still write citations with ease. Also great for patdowns [still able to identify small contriband through clothing]
