TAC AK2 Gloves
When duty calls and flash and slash hazards are unavoidable, our Tac AK2 Gloves stand ready to provide you with performance that common tactical gloves can’t match. The knit Kevlar® on the back of the glove provides protection from short duration exposure to flames as well as being cut-resistant. We’ve re-engineered one of our most popular gloves to improve dexterity, fit, and comfort. We moved the protective padding from the outside to under the one-piece goatskin palm to give you better touch and eliminate the seams and edges that can hang up on weapons and gear. The stitch pattern on the palm helps the glove flex with your hand instead of bunching up. The fourchettes and padded knuckles and finger protectors are made with goatskin for durability and protection. Our Tac AK2 gloves feature the patented TacticalTouch™ construction system for maximum dexterity and longer service life. There is no seam at the fingertip to add bulk, wear out, or irritate you. A single piece of leather forms the palm and underside of the fingers, and wraps up and over the fingertips, leaving the pads of your fingers free of seams for maximum dexterity and zero irritation. Tac AK2 gloves feature a neoprene and Velcro® wrist closure with goatskin reinforced pull and closure tabs.

Comments about 5.11 Tactical TAC AK2 Gloves:
I use these gloves on a daily basis and they give the right amount of protection and dexterity. The update from about a year ago was great. The gloves do not give the most cold weather warmth for your hands but in the summer the cloth is a nice feature to keep your hands from sweating. Only issue I have is that the cloth over the thumbs of each glove wear out and holes develop. Besides that one issue these are the only gloves I use.

Great fit, not abrasion resistant
By Panda

I use it very often just for odd jobs. However, i noticed that the back of the right glove got really worn out from reaching into my pants pocket for my keys/cash etc. So far they've held out great, but I'm concerned about how long it will be before the material starts to really get damaged.

Great Gloves
By Yoda

I use these gloves now for 3 months and I like them. Originally I bought them for the discipline of dynamic service rifle shooting. They really protect my hands climbing in and out and over the obstacles on the shooting stages. But I now also use them for precision shooting aka sniper. They give me an increased grip on my Colt M16 rifle improving my scores.

Evolution Of A Great Glove
By Andrew C

Tac AK2 V 2.0. Instant differnce. The fit was different from V 1.0 in a great way. Gone are the snug fingered gloves that never seemed to flex properly. Now they are pre-curve fingered gloves that offer the mobility one looks for. They also pull tighter into the crooks of the fingers, making the glove feel more conforming. The pull tab is an improvement grip wise over the small leather predecessor. As a peace officer that likes to wear his watch on the inside of the wrist, the new pull tab does offer a small inconvenience in that area. The sensitivity and touch is still above reproach. Tests in the field yielded success in locating small objects hidden on persons with ease. The thumb in V 1.0 has had the protruding seam removed, making firearm manipulations a walk in the park. The palm now has a generous amount of padding, without sacrificing accuracy in searching. Gripping the steering while for long hours on the road is now something to look forward to.Working in a rural area, with drastically fluctuating weather, I've found the gloves to function well in both extreme hot and cold temperatures.Overall, V 1.0 offered a great archetype to build a great glove on. V 2.0 captialized on all the possibilities 1.0 had.Great great product
