Comments about 5.11 Tactical ThumbDrive Drop and Offset Kit:
I purchased this item to use the tactical thumbdrive holster obviously. I am a detective and I wear a 5.11 belt as opposed to a duty belt. I love the holster however not the drop and offset kit. On my draws with the kit I felt like the holster would bend my belt a little too much allowing my holster to pivot making it harder to pull out. I wear an external vest.

Comments about ThumbDrive Drop and Offset Kit:
I work in law enforcement and wear khakis and a tie to work. I originally got this to use with the paddle attachment of the ThunbDrive holster. I like the paddle attachment but I wanted a lower riding holster. This did not give me what I was looking for. So I just use it with the belt attachment. The setup is great with the one minor flaw of not being easily removable. But it is a minor, and possibly a user specific, flaw and I can easily deal with it.

The offset kit was an additinional plus for lowering the platform for easier draw.
