Comments about 5.11 Tactical Replacement Clip Screws for all Knives (Except C.U.B.'s):
Excellent knife in all respects except screws loosen easily and small size makes them difficult to find correct tool for tighening. Also, once I found this sight and attempted to order replacement screws, the item was out of stock.

assembly screws

An excellent knife except the screws. Recommend anyone who buys/has one to immediately get the right size bit, remove each screw and re-assemble using red loctite. This should really be done by the manufacturer but I guess they haven't figured it out yet.

screw loose
By rangercopsgt

I use this knife on a daily basis during my patrol shift on midnights. My knife is used for a wide variety of things including seatbelts, clothing, defense, and enrty, etc.The ten eight is solid , the blade is thick and durable and maintains and takes an edge readily.the fault lies in the clip screws. they loosen easily and there is little notice when they give way. When you do notice you have to tighten them every other day.Unfortunately this knife series is expensive to maintain beacuse each replacement screw is [$] each. the ad is misleading and a more specific label applied ( photo of four screws)
