Comments about 5.11 Tactical XPRT Folder:

I was a bit skeptical about getting this knife at first due to its thin liner lock, but I was surprised that it can withstand so much pressure that it seems to me that it really is a common misconception that liner locks have to be thick in order to last long or work well. This beauty has an extremely solid construction and it feels very comfortable in my hand, and the blade is very strong and extremely sharp like what I would find in surgical knives. It's a bit heavier than most knives out there, but otherwise it was worth getting.

Comments about 5.11 Tactical XPRT Folder:

I wanted an upgrade from all the store-bought knives I'd been carrying around for years and the XPRT is a huge improvement. Stays sharp for a very long time, well balanced, and fits in my hand like a knife should. It is on the heavy side and the liner lock mechanism is thin, but overall I'm very pleased and I don't leave home without it.

    Screws fell out...

Comments about 5.11 Tactical XPRT Folder:

Like everything else about the knive, but the screws fell out. I swiched the clip to the other side, but same thing happened eventually. Now I don't have a clip on the knife and trying to figure out how to fix this.

Seems like the thread pitch in the holes were not quite right for the handle material...they're stripped. Need to re-think this design or change the material.

Comments about 5.11 Tactical XPRT Folder:

I have a First Responder that I carry everyday on duty, I was really excited about this knife. When I got it I couldn't believe that the lock was as thin and cheap as it was. I sent it back, this disappointed me a lot. I love 5.11 stuff, I buy it almost exclusively, but this knife is not up to their usual standards. Buy a First Responder, its a better knife and cheaper!
