I have been using this bag as my general purpose crime scene bag. On the outside I have a battery operated glowstick in the single pals row. I have latents cards in onside of the interior pockets, small evidence bags on the other. Main has the DNA collection, latents kit, evidence seals, blood kit (BAC), sharps vials, and some other what nots. On the side that doesn't have the pull outs I keep it filled with gloves for easy access. On the side with the pull out organization I have each one filled with a different drug tester. With the mesh it's easy to see through and find the one I need. Everyone who sees this is always impressed. Thanks 5.11!

This bag is exactly what I have been looking for. The bag is constructed from 5.11's typical very high-quality materials. The sewing is very good, and the internal pockets and compartments are well designed. The carry handle is very comfortable and well designed as well, and it also comes with a removable shoulder strap! I use this bag as a compact range bag for handguns. I put my guns and accessories into 5.11's Single Pistol cases (item #58724), and then put these cases inside this bag. I can snugly fit 3 pistol cases (with 3 pistols and several magazines for each) inside the main compartment. I put eye and hearing protection (ear buds) in the mesh zippered fold out pockets on the side, gun oil and various accessories in the other mesh zippered fold out pockets, small targets in the velcro mesh pocket, and can fit three 50 round boxes of pistol ammo in the compartment on the other side.

I am very pleased with this product and would highly recommend it to others! However, I do have two suggestions for 5.11: first, market this bag in the law enforcement part of your website where the pistol cases are located (and maybe add to the product description that the bag can be used as a range bag too), and second, use the zippers with holes for a small lock (like those used on your rifle cases) for the main compartment of this bag.

Purchased this bag to try because I wanted a small bag to carry a change of clothes, toiletries and my ipod and I love it. It is small in size compared to other day packs but has amazing amount of storage. The quality is excellent. I could not be happier with this purchase.

I use this bag to hold jumper cables, flares, and a few other emergency supplies in the trunk of my car. It is great because so much fits in to it, yet it takes up so little space, you barely notice it in the trunk.
