I use it inside the cocealed carry section of a 5.11 RUSH MOAB 10 backpack. Works great and particularly thoughtful to make the magazine retention strap removeable when not needed.

This velcro backed mag pouch is great. fits my firestar 6 shot magazines perfectly, and with a little adjustment it fits my full size 8 shot 1911 mags as well. Haven't tried speed loaders yet but with this level of adjustability i don't forsee a problem.

Initially the Double Mag Pouch didnÕt work well with longer double-stack magazines, (the retaining straps werenÕt long enough, and the velcro fastener sections did not overlap). Luckily I discovered the straps are not sewn in, and can be adjusted/repositioned to accommodate longer magazines. The online information and product packaging should include this detail. Unfortunately there is a large tag sewn inside the pouch (on left side), just waiting to snag onto gear at the worst possible time. Tags should be moved somewhere else, and should be removable by the customer without damaging stitching. The price is reasonable, although I would prefer to pay a couple dollars more and have it made in the U.S.A. rather than China. Pouch can also hold gear like small flashlight, backup folding knife, etc. Pouch attaches very well in TDU pants cargo pockets (via Back-up Belt System).
