I bought this product [...] and I am very glad I did! I keep this around for times when I just need extra raw carrying capacity. It is very handy when I am going into a datacenter and need to haul in nuts, bolts, screws, fuses, some short spools of wire, power cables, cable testers, and hearing protection. Yes, I have loaded all of the above in this bag at once, and had space to spare. I almost wish I owned some of the smaller ones as well, as this model is just HUGE. As I also work on towers, this bag is very handy for tools, gloves, and spare parts. Since it only attaches at the top of the unfolded pouch, it tends to sway. I usually send it up via a rope and pulley after the tech is in position, despite that not being quite the intended use for the Slipstick system, it works in a pinch very well.Also works well for tossing empties at the range for later reloading.My only wish for this line is a model with some small internal pockets that seal with velcro, a little ability to organize things in this pouch would be very handy.

I like the pouch, but I may have overdone it going with the XLG size as it's pretty huge when open and uncinched. This may not be a bad thing for some and its nice and compact when completely folded.
I bought it to use as a magazine retention pouch and it has a large, easy to find opening which is great but as I said before its large and may snag easily if you're doing much more than just standing and shooting. As far as construction, it feels a little thin, but this is misleading as I dumped over 100 some 2-3/4" 12 ga. shells in it to do a load test. It did just fine and was just over 1/2 full with the 100 rds but I was satisfied and stopped since I would never use it for anything heavier.
Overall good pouch and well made, but pretty big so if you don't need to haul the house around go with the medium or large sizes. I'm going to get a Lg drop pouch in the near future for magazine retention but I'll keep this around because I'll be able to use it for trap shooting or a lazy day at the range.

This is a must have for a day at the range, especially if you have a magazine fed gun. This pouch is great for dumping empty mags on the run and for storing empty brass to reload. Folds up deceptively small, but is kinda tricky deploying on the run. The sinch cord so far has been a pain to sinch up tight but the bag is so big that its not much of an issue.
