Quality travel bag

Comments about 5.11 Tactical Mission Rolling Duffel:
Great travel bag, Have it the discontinued dark green color. I hope 511 adds more colors to their bags (makes it easier to spot at baggage pickup). I also would like to see the top compartments become "lockable" like the ones below as well as the ones on the side. I know the sides may not work but going to different overseas locations (and yes, even California), lockable compartments are preferred (had sunglasses stolen out of a bag in CA). These are SMALL complaints on a superior bag that carries all you need (had a twin comforter, 2 pillows, a suit, 3 pairs of shoes, etc and it all fit!). You will not be disappointed.

Best duffel for operations

I am a hostage negotiator for a regional SWAT team. I researched many duffel bags and foud this bag to be the most functional, well made, and just the right size bag for my needs. The upgraded axle and wheels were a plus in my decision. The only thing I would suggest for improvements are a lighter colored interior so you can locate items during night time operations and some interior hold down straps.

Hands down the Best Bag I own! It stood up to abuse in Afghanistan on my frequents trips all over the country. The Wheels are awesome in all terrain.. especially over Afghanistan's rocky gravel terrain. The bag is not to big and not too small, perfect size! carries everything I want when I want. I keep it packed and ready to go anytime 24/7.

Very easy to load and unload one or more items at a time. Front three pockets great for things needed right now, Batteries, Ammo, ETC. Will also hold tomahawks,breaching tools along with clothing, water and food. just add a first aid kit and you are good to go and good to go get some.

THIS ONE BAG KEEPS ALL OF MY EMERGENCY AND SURVIVAL GEAR FOR MY DOG AND ME IN A HIGHLY MANEUVERABLE AND EASY TO STOW PACKAGE. I WAS CAUGHT IN AN F4 TORNADO AND IT WAS 3 DAYS BEFORE WE COULD GET WATER, MEDICINE AND FOOD. THIS DUFFLE HOLDS IT ALL AND I AM ABLE TO OPERATE THIS DUFFEL BECAUSE OF THE ADDITIONAL WHEEL SYSTEM. I CANNOT OPERATE A BACKPACK BECAUSE OF NECK INJURIES SO THE WHEELED AND CARRY STRAP SYSTEMS ARE PERFECT FOR ME. THE 1680D NYLON SHELL IS NOT HARD AND ROUGH BUT PLIABLE. DOES A GREAT JOB KEEPING WATER, DIRT AND DUST OUT. THE OUTSIDE POCKETS ALLOW ME TO ACCESS FREQUENTLY NEEDED ITEMS WITHOUT HAVING TO OPEN AND REARRANGE THE MAIN COMPARTMENTS.
