Very good boots. I am a big fan of 5.11 products. I have a response jacket, a hat and wanted to try boots. All I can say is they are good, I feel more comfortable when I wear them. Good job 5.11.

I work as a Firefighter-Lieutenant/EMT-Basic with a municipality fire department. I have had these boots since either July or August of 2011 and they are starting to come apart on the seam of the inner liner of the left boot. I do wear these boots alot, but I do not feel that these boots should be coming apart this quickly. I have sent an email regarding these boots to 5.11 about a week ago, but have yet to hear a response.

I would not recommend these boots to anyone. The design is ugly, not that big of a deal, but they aren't even designed to be functional. The heel stub that is supposed to help you from messing up the leather in the back is to high and useless. The boots come apart at the seems, the leather wrinkles and cracks just from normal everyday wear, and that is even with treating the leather with minks oil. They are hard as heck to put on even after breaking them in. Don't waste your money.
