You have to realize these are not there normal socks. I wear a 4E in width. This is a comfortable but snug fit TACTICAL sock. Keeps my foot fatigue down. True for long hours on your feet.

I was given a brand new pair of these by a guy when I visited the states from the UK. I had never really looked at any of the underwear or socks 5.11 did so when I got home I decided to wear them when I went out running. This was the in thing for the next few months I wore them out running and when I went training etc (rest assured they were washed in between times) sadly though after about 4 months, I was putting them on and they ripped around the cuff at the top. Like a child I ran around the room making strange noises of disbelief and kept them. Like a broken toy they sat in my drawer for a couple of weeks when I came across a needle and thread and had an epiphany and I quickly set to sewing them back up. Now fully sewn back up they are as good as new but as they are relatively thin sock I am expecting the same again. Overall they are a very comfortable sock that stay on your foot and don't roll down like most ankle type socks do. However if you really want to look the bees knees and have cash to burn then have yourself a pair, if you're not bothered then stick to your favourite sport shops brand.

Very comfortable socks...

...however, one of the materials in the sock's construction really react when my feet sweat creating a real foul odor. I don't have that problem while wearing all cotton socks. They are very comfortable!

Sizing Seems Wrong

5.11 missed the mark on this sock. They are sized way to small. I can't get them on my size 13 feet. Other styles seem to fit just fine.
