I LOVE THIS JACKET IT IS LIGHTWEIGHT DURABLE AND BEST OF ALL AFFORDABLE. IT IS WARM ENOUGH FOR JUST A BRISK CHILL OR SEMI-COLD WEATHER 30-40DEG.

I wasn't sure about the size so the store sent me size L and XL. Im not the average sized person so I went on what the sales person advised/told me. The size L was perfect in (arm) length etc.but I could not close the zip. Size XL was perfect but the sleeves were too wide resulting in having extra sleeve bits sticking out. The sleeve length was a bit too long. As to the zip...i find it of poor quality and expected better. Something like the zips on the Messenger bag or Rush backpacks for example. I expect that to go down soon as i would use the jacket frequently. Shame it has not velcro on the front to attach a patch on. The jacket itself is very affordable and packs away easy in the pocket. Very handy for trips away (which I often do on the bike). I have the lined jacket and it feels very warm.

Service and delivery comments:

After coming back from 2 weeks in hot weather environment to rainy, cold, windy and dull weather I figured i needed something of quality to protect myself. Naturally I moved to 5.11. For the first time I ordered this via the phone at the signature store in Holland. Customer service was excellent(as per usual)fast and helpful. Within 1 day I got my jacket and it arrived in very good condition. So no complaints here.

Comments about 5.11 Tactical Lined Packable Jacket:

With only mild use, my zipper broke on this jacket. I wore its replacement for the very first time, and the elastic inside the sleeve snapped as I put on the jacket. I really like the style, color, weight, etc. but I believe it has quality/construction issues.

Service and delivery comments:

When I returned the first jacket, i had absolutely no problems with customer service, which is excellent. As for the 2nd jacket, I've given up on it--I will move on to another design.
