I love all of the 5.11 gear I have purchased in the past 2 months. The 5 in 1 Jacket has been one of the best jackets I have ever owned. There is so much versatility in the coat that you can grab it and know you are covered for the day. The only tough part about the coat is its lack of markings to identify you as an officer. That is why I am glad they make the hidden Velcro strap to stick these banners on. They will also work with other gear that I own.

Yes, it would be good if they included these in with your purchase of the jacket but I found them to be reasonably priced on their site. There is also a safety concern if the General public were displaying them to commit crimes. So I do understand.

All in all, 5.11 makes great gear. Its a little pricey but you know its quality stuff when you order it. Whenever I need something I check their website first and compare everyone else to them.

I ordered extra of these, they come in handy for putting on extra equipment. It's always good to be able to identify your self, especially when you need to off duty.

The panels would be much more attractive if they were embroideried with a heavy reflective thread instead of the "iron on" type of letters. Other than than, the concept of concealment/identification is simple to use and change.
