These pants should be a intergal part of your EDC. People comment to me at work as to how I look sharp and dress up everyday in these Covert Kaki's. I think to myself "Er- ok, I'm wearing BDU's to work, glad they look great". I can conceal over 100 rounds of ammo if I need too. The AR mag pockets are great, but not practical to carry a 30 round mag (However 20 rounders work pretty well). I carry a clip-on knife, flashlight, lighter, small pocket knife, Droid X and a 19 round 9mm mag for my XD(M) every minute of everyday. Seriously need more colors though such as Navy, Dark Kaki, Grey, Stone, etc. For us Prepper office types, these are a perfect replacement for my boring Dockers.

I had purchased a single pair of these 16 months ago to try as a replacement for the covert khaki pants I had. I found these pants very comfortable and and durable. They look like a normal pair of pants I can wear to the office every day. The pockets are great! I can store all kinds of things in them, Flashlight, OC, magazines, wallet, 1st aid kit, etc. The pockets on the thigh and back are easily accessible. The things I would change would be to reinforce the interior of the pockets so objects like a flashlight won't wear through, and make the openings in the front upper zippered pockets larger for easier access. These pants are great, I have since bought several more pair. They are the best every day business casual pant that don't make me look like Johnny Tacticool. Highly recommended.

My first set of 5.11 tactical pants spoiled me--they were better than any other cargo on the market, and were more versatile. Then I tried the Covert Cargo, and find them perfect for everyday wear. I prefer them to jeans, and actually like them better than the several pairs of tactical pants I occasionally wear.

These pants are great! They are casual enough that they are comfortable and "covert" and yet, they are tactical enough to carry anything you might need. My only issue is because they are cotton, order the next size in length you might need as they will shrink up. For example, I typically wear 33" inseam, I ordered the 34" inseam thinking of the shrinking and after three washes/drying cycles they are about a 32.5" inseam.

Good overall. I have 2 pair of these and am ordering more. I use these as work pants in a "business tactical" environment. I like these alot more than traditional 5.11 tactical pants. More professional looking, decent pockets, can't access the cargo pockets quickly. Like all 5.11 pants, run a good 2 inches too short.
