I use these when I ride the ambulance, they are great and move with you. They dont squeeze you when you sit down or squat guys you know what I am talking about. They have plenty of pockets some think they have to many but I think it just gives you more options. I like how they trama sheer and tape holders have buttons plus velcro. They did seem to hold in a bit of heat but all pants will but they good thing about these is it didnt seem to hold odor like other pants did. I have tried several different EMS pants and this is by far the best. My deparmtment will give us as many EMS pants as we want and I still perfer these.

Great pants and very comfortable!

Plentiful pockets that are bilateral and accessible to both right and left-handed people.

Small attention to details like the slash pocket knife clip are make these pants more formidable than other brands.

Service and delivery comments:

My delivery was NOT very prompt or swift. From the time I ordered the in-stock product to my door was 19 days. The order did not even process or ship from 5.11 for at least 4 business days. From there it took about 2 weeks for delivery. I used the FED-EX Smart Post option, which I have used before with other companies but I received much faster shipping results on those other orders.

The product is outstanding and arrived in good condition.

Unless this service point changes, my advice is to order this product from another re-seller until 5.11 makes some changes to their in-house order processing and shipping procedures. I will continue to buy the 5.11 products because of their high quality and performance, but I will think twice before ordering directly from the company website again.

I had ordered a pair of the regular EMS pants about two years - neither fit properly (the 30" waist was way too small and the 32" was way too big). I see everyone wearing 5.11 pants and tried to give them a go with this new Taclite, and I'm very happy with the fit. SPOT ON, really. I do think the number of pockets is just a bit of an overkill, but I'll just leave them empty. Someone else commented on the "bell bottom" style of the regular EMS pants (which I agree with) and these pants DO NOT have that style. Nice straight leg. Very happy!

These pants work great in all environments. Some reviews have stated that a con of these pants is that a belt is required, since most EMS agency require wearing a belt as part of the uniform I don't see this as a con.
