I love the belt due to the strength of the material and the huge weight capacity. While at work in the office I usually carry quite some stuff at the belt, safely attached.
In my spare time it's my good old trusted place for my backup gun at the airsoft field and it even survived some rough maneuvers which already killed the belts I had before.
The only drawback I noticed is that I need some time to open it - which isn't optimal when running for the toilet. On the other hand it's closed safely and won't open by accident.
Well after reading some of the reviews I was a little leary about buying this belt but I am glad that I did. With the other competition not having their design in production left me looking for another option and I found the T rail. I was a little concerned about the buckle being abrasive on clothing but after wearing it for several weeks I find it is not it abrasive on my clothes (blue jeans t-shirt) I do like the Dual hooks as they seem to keep the belt aligned properly where is a single hook with allow some sag. The material is extremely durable and even though abraded roughly it still has a new appearance to it. I found the sizing to run true to size the but most online companies say buy one size larger than you need the only downside being if you need more holes put in the belt it will be a little hard to do as they are oblong and a normal leather punch won't do the job. The belt does not seem to roll under at all and seems to return to its original shape even after being pinched all day by suspenders or a holster would strongly suggest this belt for anyone who needs a strong gun belt that will probably last a lifetime.
This belt is not a good option for IWB carry. It is very difficult to get the belt tight enough to keep the holster secure. Buckle can be uncomfortable if sitting for an extended period of time.
Great belt, but the buckle is very aggressive (and not in a good way).
The T-rail design, combined with the sharp edge along the back of the buckle, creates a serrated edge that can tear up your clothing pretty quickly. It's especially problematic if worn in a sitting environment (office or school) or used in a highly active environment (range). The sharp serrations also aren't very comfortable or easy on your hands when putting the belt on or taking it off.
Having owned and worn an Apex Gunner's Belt almost daily for a couple years now, I thought this belt would just be a small change of style. Instead, I ended up having to take a file to the buckle just to ensure it wouldn't saw through my clothing (or skin) if worn frequently.
While I like the style and colors of the Apex T-Rail Belt, I would not recommend it. Instead, I'd recommend purchasing/using the Apex Gunner's Belt. It provides the same quality and functionality but the straight edge of the buckle backing is much less abrasive.
