A cover flap attached to the securing strap to keep dust and light rain off the phone should be added to the pouch.
I would prefer hook and loop option to secure the strap as well as the buckle. It would make the phone removal/install action single handed.
Pen loop would be nice.
May not fit an iphone 6, not enough lentgh in the strap. Iphone 5 no probs.
Product works great with modifications. I use it with an iPhone 5 with Otterbox Defender cover. I removed the stitching in the front and cut off the buckle from the back because the strap would not fit and did not seem effective even if it would. With out the buckle the case looks smooth and fits great. The elastic holds it in great. I can do a hand stand push up and the phone will not come out. I can also covertly turn my camera on and record everything with the phone facing out on my vest and no one will notice it. It is honestly the best solution I could find for having my phone easily accessible yet secure.
Horrible case. Snaps that secure case to gun belt come loose very easily. Takes too long to unsnap, remove phone, answer, then re-holster. Not a great fit since no elastic built in to the case. I make pocket calls with this case when I bend over if I forget to lock phone keypad.
Fits my iPhone 4 perfectly with no protective case, however I have a Magpul exectutive phone case on my iPhone and it fits snug. I keep the C4 case attached to my patrol bag. It is a secure place for my phone while in my cruiser. Very convenient, don't have to worry about the phone sliding around the cabin, or trying to get the phone out of my pocket while buckled in.
Great 5.11 quality, engineered and built to last.
Far too small for my BB Bold or my wife's BB Curve. Would fit a BB Pearl.
perfect for my 5.11 messenger bag. Holds iphone tight and offers some protection from elements, but not waterproof or drop proof. Looks good and attaches to webbing well.
I originally bought this case for my cell phone to wear on my TDU belt. I eventually upgraded my phone and the case laid in my drawer for a year. I recently got the idea to convert it into a panic button holder. I cut off the retainer clip off and cut a 1 inch square hole in the body and there you have it, a panic button holder that fits on my duty belt very well and takes all kind of abuse.
As well made as other products I've gotten from 5.11. Mostly I'm posting to share that this fits my iphone 4s perfectly when it's not in a case. When the phone is in a Magpul field case, it fits very tightly, which may be a plus for some and a negative for others. It definitely takes some effort to insert or remove the phone when it's in the case. If you need/want to get the phone out quickly while using a rubber case, you may want to consider the larger size. Also, this product fits an ipod classic perfectly and you can still access the headphone port.
Use it with an iphone 4. I turn the phone upside down so the camera isn't exposed and can use it with a vest or even on a belt off duty. Its rugged and used daily and has held up no problems.
Works great with an iPhone 4.
