We have no choice but these pants which is too bad. They are expensive(due to all the other drawbacks), fade quickly, stitching comes apart (happens with all their pants), and every pair I have owned develops holes where pocket contents rub against bunker gear. I wish we had options or that 5.11 would quit developing purses and put some money into their core markets. Now that they have been bought out, they can either put money into professional products or, as it seems from shot show, develop jeans and purses. Too bad.
Great material and great fit!
I purchased these pants about a week ago along with the company cargo pants. The cargo came with no complications they even were 2 days early. The problem I have with the customer service is that these pants are back ordered until the beginning of next month and I did not receive any email alerting me to this. It wasn't until I opened the package that I found out that they were not shipped and then had to call them to find out that they were back ordered. I was promised overnight shipping once they come in as of the 31st but the lack of communication with their customers is upsetting
The butt wore out of these in less than a year. I have elbeco pants that are over five years old in better condition than these 5.11 pants. I paid $70 for these at gander mountain. Id expect better quality for the price. Ill stick with elbeco
Nice pair of pant, extremely overpriced, wore pants not more than 20 times and the front pocket edges frayed, the cuffs frayed as if they wore too long and dragged on the ground which was not the case at all. these pants are garbage now can't wear them for work as they look very unprofessional!! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! had too give 1 star cause 0 not available
These pants were supposed to solve the fading issue and be a more viable option for firefighters. These do not look good after a month or two and are not acceptable for my department uniforms.
I like how the pants fit and I like the front pockets.
However the pair that I own faded after 3 or 4 weeks. Now they have a purplish tint to them and they don't match any of my other uniforms. Because of this I cannot wear them at the fire house or ambulance base, which makes them useless. If this was corrected I would by another pair.
Our department switched to this style pant due to cost and suppose longer life with pants. The fit is horrible in the boys area. Very little pocket space so cant carry a lot with you without causing more comfort issues. so far they do seem more durable and don't fade as easily as previous pants. overall just an average pant wouldn't buy with my own money.
