This is a very sturdy, substantial knife. It takes up a bit more pocket room than most knives, but the tradeoff is that you get a knife large enough to operate with work or fire gloves on (though you probably won't be able to fold it up with fire gloves). The shape of the blade really helps "dig in" to large objects. The only thing keeping this knife from being 5 stars is the pocket clip. The tab below the pinch-point is very long and rides high off the pocket which makes it snag on coats and long shirts if in a front pocket and snag on seat cushions if in the back pocket. You just have to pay a bit more attention to where you place the knife. Small tradeoff for a great tool.
