Very nice, sharp, knife. I use the small blade more than the larger one. My only complaint is the knife is very thick to be carried in your pocket, standing is fine but when you sit down you really know its there!!
solid construction both blades are very sharp
karambit blade is just the right size for a hidden blade At first it felt somewhat heavy and thick (it has two blades )
the grip is comfortable after some handling no more concerns
The knife is carried daily, front pocket clip or in the vehicle
Everything I expect from a 5.11 product. Razor sharp out of the box, solid construction, and then of course the 'hidden' karambit blade. I find other large 'talon' karambits impractical for daily carry ... and the point of the karambit is to be a tiny hidden blade which an enemy cannot see. I choose to carry this knife for tactical and everyday use. FMA and Silat practitioners will love this knife ... I say there is no competition because I have scoured the internet and have found nothing of comparable quality and function ... yet.
A handy neat little knife.
The best feature is the second smaller blade, which is extremely convenient for smaller tasks when using a full blade is unnecessary. The main blade itself is very sturdy, came very sharp, is in itself well designed.
Opening the main full blade is a tad awkward, the loop is a bit too large to open easily, and the grip has an odd transition while opening (note the large gap where the pointer finger would be).
Also, the knife came extremely over torqued. All screws in the handle had to be loosened to remove most the resistance.
Neat idea, but not worth it in hindsight...
