Excellent tactical boots! Demi Have experience in operating these shoes in hard conditions. Superb comfort and waterproof! Excellent cushioning when jumping with AFVs on the concrete Kind Don't lose their shape has only one drawback. THE INNER LAYER OF THE MEMBRANE IS RUBBED AND STRIVES TO FOOT HEEL AREA! Two pairs of these boots torn there COMPANY 5. 11 WISH to TAKE INTO ACCOUNT the EXPERIENCE of MY SHOES THIS CLASS EXPLOITATION and subsequent MODELS to ENHANCE MEMBRANE TISSUE in the area of the HEEL of the foot. There comes the greatest friction during walking and putting on (withdrawal) shoe MEMBRANE MATERIALS are VERY GENTLE with respect, Alexander you great company!
After having these boots for couple weeks they are really a Great boot & very warm! How ever the insulation inside the zipper section doesn't allow the boot to be put on easily. There is a water tight membrane which is very flexible but inside there is a insulated section that isn't flexible & does stretch to allow the to be put on & the whole idea of the zipper boot is for easy on & off without messing with the laces! I would give the boot a 5 star if all was great but with the restriction putting the boot on it's only at best 3 star boot! The interior insulation has to be enlarged to allow you to put this boot on easily! once on the boot is warm & comfortable, but getting it on is another story! I'll probably have to make a cut on the insulation which will void any return ability but at least I won't have to fight to get the boots on!
I used these boots for both tactical and regular patrol calls in cold weather. They were good in weather that hovered around 0 degrees. Very comfortable and the soles provided very good traction on snow and ice. The soles are much like winter tires. These were better in snow and cold than my Danners or Matterhorns that I wore in the military. I would recommend these for cold weather police work.
