I utilized the RUSH 24 and the All Hazards Prime backpacks, and both are GREAT travelling packs. Then I tried the Havoc and I'm hooked! The most comfortable pack out there with chest strap and padded waist pads (that can hold earbuds and other small stuff). Plenty of room inside for laptop/etc. The only issue I have is that it won't stand up by itself like the other described packs.
TRAVELED TO RUSSIA WITH THIS BACKPACK. HELD UP NICE AND TIGHT. VERY COMFORTABLE AND VERSATILE. YOU CAN FIT A LOT OF LUGGAGE INSIDE. I PURCHASED THE DOUBLE-TAP COLOR FOR ONE REASON: TO BLEND INTO MY ENVIRONMENT. WELL, IT WORKED WHILE I WAS ABROAD IN RUSSIA. MOST OF THE ROADS, SIDEWALKS, AND BUILDINGS ARE A MIXTURE OF GRAY AND BLACK. IT WAS PERFECT FOR THE SITUATION AND DID NOT CAUSE MANY HEADS TO TURN, UNLESS YOU'RE ROCKIN' A AMERICAN FLAG MORALE PATCH IN THE BACK! OTHER THAN THAT, THIS BACKPACK GETS THE JOB DONE! IF YOU HAVE SENSITIVE MATERIALS SUCH AS LAPTOPS OR DOCUMENTS, THIS BACKPACK DOES ONE HELL OF A JOB PROTECTING IT. SO IF YOU PLAN TO TRAVEL WITH THIS, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! ESPECIALLY DOUBLE-TAP COLOR. JUST GOOGLE, RUSSIAN URBAN ENVIRONMENT, TO GET YOU AN IDEA OF THE GLOOMY, GRAY, LEAD COLOR MOST CITIES EMIT; SIMILAR TO DOUBLE-TAP. GOOD LUCK!
This backpack is a perfect starter for anyone looking for high-volume backpacks. The design allows for both EDC and Bug-out, and the storage volume is huge! The waist strap easily tucks away into the bag, and the optics pocket is quite stiff.
THIS IS THE MOST COMFORTABLE PACK I HAVE EVER USED. I USED A SLING PACK WITH A SINGLE STRAP FOR MY EDC BAG BUT FOUND CARRYING IT LONG DISTANCES UNCOMFORTABLE. AFTER 10 MILES MY SHOULDER AND NECK WERE JUST SCREAMING. I RAN THIS PACK LOADED WITH 30 POUNDS OF GEAR FOR 10 MILES AND COULD EASILY GO ANOTHER 10 MILES OF ROUGH TERRAIN. I HAVE RUN HIGH END BLACKHAWK AND CAMELBACK PACKS. THIS PACK EASILY BEATS EVERYTHING I HAVE EVER USED. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
