5.11 Tactical Eyewear Product Information

Warning:
5.11 Tactical Eyewear is not designed to protect the user from all injury in the event of hard object impacts, liquid / chemical splashes or if the lens in not secured into the frame properly. This eyewear is not recommended for viewing the sun, strong artifi cial lights, or nighttime driving. If any peripheral vision is blocked, do not use these glasses while driving or optically sensitive actions.


Certifications:
5.11 Tactical Eyewear meets and exceeds the ANSI Z87.1 requirements for impact resistance and visual clarity. In addition, the 5.11 Tactical eyewear meets and exceeds the EN1836: 1997 + A1:2001 + A2:2003 requirements.

Care and Cleaning:
When your 5.11 Tactical Eyewear is not in use, please place the glasses in its cleaning bag and inside its hard case. During lengthy periods of non-use please place the eyewear back in its box in the manner it was originally packed.

Polycarbonate lenses require special care. Free any large debris with air. Use a mild pH 5.5 soap and water. Blot moisture with a soft clean cloth and allow to air dry. Do not expose eyewear to any harsh chemicals or detergents. Do not use any cloth or paper product to clean your lenses, other that the bag included with your purchase.

Limited Warranty Repairs:
5.11 Tactical will, within two (2) years from date of purchase, repair or replace (at 5.11’s discretion) your 5.11 Tactical Eyewear free of charge if it proves to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use. 5.11, Inc. reserves the right to repair or replace, with an equivalent style, any warranty eyewear. This warranty does not cover scratches, frame breakage or any other damage arising from normal use, misuse or accidents. 5.11, Inc.’s liability related to this product shall not exceed the retail value of the product.

This warranty is void if the eyewear was not purchased from an Authorized 5.11 Tactical Dealer, as evidenced by a valid warranty claim form or proof of purchase. All warranty claims must be sent with a purchase receipt clearly showing the purchase date / place of purchase and Return Authorization Number. Packaging and/or this instruction sheet is NOT proof of purchase from an authorized dealer. The Return Authorization Number may be acquired from our 5.11 Customer Service Center at 1-866-451-1726.

Please remember that your warranty is void if the eyewear is serviced by anyone other than the 5.11 Tactical Eyewear service center. Ship your eyewear via registered, insured mail, return receipt requested. The Return Authorization Number must be clearly visible from the outside of the package or the shipment will be returned. Insure the eyewear for full replacement value. Please enclose a check, money order or credit card information for U$10.00 to cover return postage and insurance. You are responsible for your eyewear during transit.

EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY LIABILITY RESULTING FROM USE OF THIS PRODUCT AND SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO PURCHASER’S USE OF 5.11 TACTICAL EYEWEAR.


Applicable law may not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability of special or consequential damages so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to your purchase, but it is intended to be the maximum limitation permitted by law.
