Great for duty and EDC carry for multitools!

 Rated 4.0 stars

From Cadet OpFor Instructor

I bought two of these pouches in our local 5.11 retailers here in the Philippines about a year ago. I got a sandstone for EDC carry and an OD for duty carry on my belt/vest. I primarily use them for carrying my MP600 multi-tool since I carry the same tool. The single mag pouch is absolutely secure, both on a belt and on a vest, and fits the multi-tool (and its torx wrench) perfectly. The only drawback for me was the grommet for the drainhole is only made out of thread, not stainless steel like in the Rush bags, and the needlenose pliers in my multi-tool not only destroy the grommet but actually widen the hole. The problem was easily fixed though with the use of a used plastic card, that way the pliers don’t push out.
I recently upgraded my EDC and Duty tool to an OHT and I was sad that the pouch was too small and I’d have to stop using it…to my surprise however, the pouches still accommodated the larger and heavier OHT! Great job 5.11!
