I wear these shirts everyday for rugged firefighter use. Very wearable, breathable, all around durable. Fits great. Does not fade with every other day washing, keeps perfect navy blue color.
Excellent t-shirt for under a uniform shirt, only one I use!
Great feel. Comfortable, especially in hot environment. Not like 65% poly to 35% cotton, that itches when in the tropics. I've washed it 2x now, haven't noticed any shrinkage, nor fading. I wish 5.11 would make them in grey.
I bought one of each about two years ago, This one is still in great shape and I still wear them today. The other faded within a couple of months and shrunk a good bit over time. It tears easier than this shirt and doesn't feel near as good. Since then I have bought probably 20 more of these and plan on getting more today (not just for me).
Im extremely picky about shirts and tend to pay major attention to texture (soft and light) and the cut of the shirt. This is my favorite t-shirt created post-1978. Im 5'11 190lbs and the large is a perfect size. Very flattering cut, the color and texture do have a 'professional' look, and comfort is intense. I bought one as a trial attempt and Im returning to buy another 2 or three. Highly recommended! PS: theres a 5.11 tactical brand sirt very similar to this but a fraction of the price, does anyone know if theyre the same/similar product?
I have tried many uniform shirts and these are great. Maintains shape, still hasn't faded after four months, and the cut fits well. Only complaint is the sleeve length is too long and comes down to my elbow, great for men I'm sure but I would love to see a women's version with shorter sleeves so i dont feel like im wearing my husbands shirts!!
Also, if you want a shift that stays tucked in this is it! Way long!...
Love your products and think they are great quality though.
I bought a 3-pack of whites about a year ago to wear under my white uniform shirt; i was hoping it would live up to it's promos as in NOT having pit-stains, staying tucked in due to longer length but NOT longer sleeves that hang out from upper layer, the collar not getting loose and sagging, and being durable through lots of washes and looking like *insert popular brand undershirts*.....and like all the 5.11 stuff i got prior, they were AWESOME! so i bought another pack the next week to back up what i was throwing out. to this day, those undershirts are STILL living up through the abuse i hand them and STILL look, feel, and function appropriately both at work and when i wear them off duty.
so when i started at a new service that allowed more 5.11 clothing options, i naturally was excited and this past spring bought some navy undershirts that went with our SOG's. unfortunately, my first pack were lemons: the seems on the sleeves, collar, and bottom of shirt were ALL coming apart! so i took them back to the dealer and ordered a new pack. a week later they came in and BAM! same problem. so i decided to just burn off the excess before getting too much worse keeping what i have
i am 6ft 4in tall; the t shirt is long enough to stay tucked in; it doesnt shrink
These shirts are great they are fairly light weight and even with the navy blue they stay cool, they don't cling like other shirts do. They are nice and roomy no complaints about them binding. I would recommend them for anyone that has to wear a traditional uniform shirt. A+ 5.11!!!!
