Excellent

By Josh

Not sure why this boot/shoe has a lot of bad reviews. I personally love this shoe. It sits just above your ankle so i'd call it more of a shoe, but it fits great i wear a size 14 and it fit perfectly. I'm a rock climber and a mountaineer, and I bought these for approach shoes as they call it. I use these to hike to my locations to climb. Very grippy, comfortable and good support. I've had them for a month now and so far so good. I use these to rappel in as well. They do the job. I would definitely recommend these to anyone.

Sad and Horrible

Out of all the Boots i have worn from 5.11 holy crap! Really disappointed in this boot which was really narrow for some reason. The damn thing tore on the side after like two weeks of forcing myself to wear them.

way too narrow-dissapointed

Iv'e had 5 pairs of 5.11 boots and a pair of tactical trainers. The boots were comfortable out of the box and never had any discomfort at all. This pair i could barely get on and there was no way i was walking in them. I don't know any grunts with feet built this girly.

Way too narrow!

What is the deal with these shoes being so narrow? And what's the deal with everyone using "to" for "too" narrow? Learn to use proper grammar people. These really are so narrow I couldn't even get my foot in and I do not have a wide foot. I have never bought a wide before but wish these came in a wide.

Great looking shoe.... Poor fitting Shoe

By J

This is the best looking shoe. However, this is the worst fitting shoe I've ever put on my feet. they are way to narrow. 5.11, needs to keep the shoe because the style is awesome, but really needs to work on the sizing. They are really uncomfortable.

Narrow

This boot looks good, and is built good, however it is extremely narrow compared to normal footwear. Hoping it stretches out...

Inside is way to tight.

By Phx

from Phoenix, AZ

I love the way the shoe lookes but the inside is way to tight to the point were its uncomfortable. the length is fine but the toes are to tight. I dont think a larger size would help. Not true to size at all. The most akward fitting shoe I ever tried.

If you train, you need this boot

By Suns Out Guns Out

from NoDak

This boot is more like a high end shoe. It doesn't have the same "Boot" feel but more of a nice running shoe. I wear these as a daily wear shoe at the gun shop. I also wear them at range days. I do a lot of running in them, they hold up nice for a boot. NOT A RUNNING SHOE, but perfect for training.

If you don't buy this boot -- The enemy wins.

Disappointing

By Adam

from Berkeley, CA

I've owned a few different pairs of 5.11 boots and loved all them. I ordered these and the pursuit chukka. I was very excited for them but they simply do not fit. I wear a 10.5 regular in just about all shoes I've ever worn. I can sometimes fit a 10 in some instances but the width of these and the length is off. I can't even walk around in these they are so tight in width and internal height. I had to double check the box because I thought they may had been for women. Also the chukka's were very off too I couldn't even get my foot inside them. See my picture for the comparison of my 3 year old tac trainers from below. At the most narrow point the tac trainers are 3.35in and the range masters are 2.8in. At the widest the tac trainers are 4.5in and the range masters are 4.15in. These are for a 10.5 in each externally.

Best Stylish Looking Range Master Boots

By Gosple Rhythm

from Sierra Vista, AZ

Finally, shoes that compliments the 5.11 Tacticle shirt and pants apparel very nicely and looks stylish and cool. Color-
coordinated to match work apparel. Only if they would make a TDU Green colored one, that would complete the color coordination scheme. Expensive, but well worth the buy. Bought all 3 shoe colors.
