I live in Idaho where the weather gets dang cold. I love this coat. Besides being versitile and having all the pockets I need to hold a radio, wallet, gloves, tools, and holly cow a lot more. I love that the back has a large zipper for making it easy to have my Logo and agency applied to the back without having to have the coat unstiched. The liner itself can be taken out and worn as a fleece jacket. It also has lots of pockets on it as well. I do wish the sleeves had a little more to hold the liner in place. It would be nice to have 2 holders instead of one at the end of the sleeve keeping the liner sleeves in place in the shell. My old coat I had to wear a fleece jacket inside my coat to stay warm on cold days out on the freeway. I am headed into year 2 of having this coat and I would buy another one. I am slowly replacing the coats on my agency with this one. Hope it stays around. I love the look of the almost all black but I do wish it had a little more visibility and reflective tape. Thinking about buying one of the yellow just for the freeway calls.

Best Jacket You Can Buy

Great Jacket. Extremely warm, so warm I can't wear it with the liner most of the year, but the liner itself makes a nice jacket by itself. Has more than enough pockets so you can keep anything you need such as notepads, BP Cuff, flashlight, multitools, etc. Also is great for wet weather. Well worth the cost. Must have for any first responder,

Hiking and outdoor activities in cold and rain. Zip-in liner a plus. Windproof keeps you warm. Reflector strips keep you visible at night or in low light. Hood constructed so that it is not an annoyance when not used but left on the parka.

Nice and warm, but has some flaws

I received the coat last week and have a few comments and suggestions for improvement. Overall I absolutely love the coat. It fits very well and is very warm, however I have found a few areas that could be improved upon.
First, the fleece liner does not stay in place. The sleeves tend to bunch up on the side that is not attached to the shell. It also tends to bunch up on the bottom where it is not attached to the shell.
Second, the radio pocket is a pain. The top opening is narrow and the pocket deep which causes the radio knobs to get caught when removing the radio from the pocket. Also the height of the pocket makes it hard to remove the radio. I would much rather see an external pocket with a flap as found on turnout coats.

i havent got to use it alot yet but we had about 3 days of rain last week and i stayed dry all day it kept me warm and dry, i'm also visible when responding to incidents, the only dis like is the sleves feel a bit too tong and the inner jacket likes to slip out the end maybe a better snap system?

But over all and amazing coat keep up the good work guys !

I bought this jacket to see if it would suit my companies needs, in regards to waterproof/warm jacket. It worked that well that most of my team are now buying the jacket. The jacket has been tested in various fields from Moto X events, tarmac car events through to high altitude car events. It hasn't failed yet and we don't believe it will. The jacket is a breeze to clean after any muddy events we have worn them. Simply, we love the jacket.
