I hope you guys never change a thing about this shirt. Never discontinue it. I love the fact that it has velcro closures, that it is ripstop, That it has covert pockets for my cellphone, notepad, etc. I even like the pen pocket on the left sleeve. I've worn a bagillion 'tactical' shirts over the years. My favorite used to be the Woolrich Elite, but this fits better, looks sharper. It looks good, feels good, and works hard. Heck, I'm even glad it doesn't have a ventilated back!
I was concerned about buying this shirt for several reasons but decided to try it. The shirt runs a little large. Normally I ware large or extra large but found that the large was too big. The medium shirt fit better but was bordering on being a little tight. After wearing it several times I could not believe how comfortable it is. Because of the construction design and stretch type material there was no binding or restricting movement. I have bought a second one and am ordering two of the short sleeve shirts today. Normally I don't pay this much for shirts but these are fantastic. There is no claim for being wrinkle free but it comes close. If you decide try one I don't think you will be disappointed.
I bought two ( 2 ) of these shirts last September. I was planning on wearing them at work and when I went out casually, running errands etc.. However when I unpacked them and really got to see in person what these shirts truly looked and felt like while wearing them they instantly became my favorite go to shirts...!! Also I bought 3 pair of the Stryke pants the next day to complete the unofficial uniform at the Department and the street. The Shirt drapes well and you can get lost in all the pockets! I'll admit they are expensive however, in this case you definitely get what you pay for... While working on the street I can carry everything from papers to serve on someone we need to grab up to small can of maze thumb cuffs, Tact9000 flashlight! I am able to carry just about everything you can think of while remaining practically unnoticed especially with the 5.11 Stryke Pants to complement the shirt. The Shirt and Pants together as a quasi military uniform without jumping out at others in a crowd or just being able to walk up on a perp and not having to give chase. This is what I would refer to as a uniform/non uniform in so many situations and variables it is in a class of its own! Furthermore, it's so comfortable and looks exceptionally sharp I can be fully armed and with all the gear one could possibly need while on the job or out on the town and still blend in to the crowd big or small...! I'm fixing to order four ( 4 ) more shirts and pants this weekend. Really I can't express enough how much the 5.11 Stryke Shirts and pants have help to improve my job function whether training, Investigating or working the streets! Oh, BTW they look and feel awesome while out and taking care of business or just having fun... I am still hoping the Department will either purchase these for us or at least help defray the cost. 5.11 you have finally hit on a combination that not only works but does so on a stellar level...!!!
Very likable shirt, it's not stiff. Very comfortable Feels great.however I have a athletic body type , the shirt has a boxy type fit in the middle, yes that works for concealment ...but it's a little much.
I like the shirt . I just wanted a jeans style dress shirt that looks good for casual wear without the boxy look ... I bought 3
I like them just dealing with the boxy look
I just purchased this shirt after buying 2 pair of the Stryke Pants and being impressed with them. They fit good, move very well and look neat for duty and training. The only problem is the price. I cannot afford to pay $80.00 a shirt, even for a good one. The department is not going to spring for it at that price in any quantity when there are cheaper shirts available. I hope 5.11 can adjust the price to be more affordable. I would buy several if I could and would like to see them issued.
