I had one as my edc. Worked great for about a year. Then just started coming on intermittently when trying to turn on. Then stopped coming on period. Not worth $60.
I really love this light. I have three different lights from 5.11 and this is my edc light. The only draw back is the tail switch can be accidental turned on you will not notice this can eat up batteries. I wish it had the additional turn switch on it to prevent accidental turn ons.
had the older model , a2, and still had same issues with tailcap. when it did work it was a great light to have ay my side.
I have had this light for almost 2 years, And I abuse the thing every day.
It has been in puddles of nitric acid and cfx at work, and in several hundred degrees. And to home it is under a vehicle most nights.
It will drain a set of batteries in a hurry. But it has been a great light for the money.
I've been using this for everyday carry. For many of my general purpose lighting needs, this flashlight works well. I have an earlier version of this light that is about 162 lumens if my memory serves. Using it in a low light tactical pistol course, I found that while the 162 lumens I had was somewhat workable, the narrow beam required too much pinpoint accuracy to shine in a subject's face to disorient them. The real selling point is the use of AA batteries rather than CR123 or 18650 Batteries.
I have been in emergency services for over 11 years. I use this flashlight on duty and at home. This is a great all around flashlight. I bought 2 more for my wife and son for general use.
I have had this for two months and use it all the time . Its better than my other tactical lights.
If the tail switch is improved, this would be a great product.
The flashlight only works for about a week.
I bought one and returned. The second one also lasted a week.
The other downside is that it take three weeks to process returns.
I'm very disappointed.
Tail cap switch is not consistent. Please send me a replacement.
