Good Idea Poor Execution

By GuardianAgent

from Knoxville, TN

After more than 10 years wearing Flying Cross my dept. offered the option of wearing 5.11. After wearing the shirt for 8 months I have noticed several areas which have worn through, the zipper is constantly coming apart, and the uniform is a lint magnet. It sucks up lint and looks horrible after wearing for 5 minutes. The uniform also doesn't seem to hold a crease. I have to iron it almost daily for the crease to look half decent. I have many people, officers and civilians, who say the uniform doesn't look as professional as our previous uniforms. Overall I wouldn't recommend it to any officer who wants to look professional.
