A few weeks after I got it, the light quit working. It's still great as a pen, though.
I got this pen-light free with my last order. I definitely wouldn't buy one of these, but it sure is cool as a freebie.
As a pen, it works great. It feels good in my hand; the weight and texture make it feel important. I like that there isn't a lot of plastic in this pen. The anodized finish looks very nice.
As a flashlight, it's a joke. If you just need to write something in the dark (like we all do occasionally), it will easily illuminate whatever surface you're writing on, but nothing beyond that.
The diameter of the pen is about that of a fat kindergarten pencil, the pen writes really well. The only problem I have is finding a refill for the pen. The 2 I found were on Amazon and one was at $27 and the other was at $55. So when the pen runs out of ink, it will go in the junk drawer for when I need parts for a project. Now my opinion might change if I can find a substitute for the ink pen.
i've had an issues with it right out of the package put the battery in and whent to click it and it stuck had to double click almost triple click to get it to work again have the same issue every time I use the pen and The light is dim other than those issues it's got a good weight to it
The pen is bulky but I dont mind that, the problem im having with my pen is that it flickers when the light is on so sometimes I have trouble keep in it on. The writing part works good and love the look of it. Like the clip to.
Pros: I love the weight and look, also the writing is on point for what I need. Even in the rain it was working perfect.
Cons: Needs a better light, it's too dim for me.
