STÉPHANE GOOSSENS
ROPE ACCESS TECHNICIAN & INSTRUCTOR
FRANCE
“I want to make working at height safer through training. There are many facets to working at high altitude so it is important to adapt and find individual safety solutions for different professions.”
Stéphane uses a go-bag daily for his tools and safety equipment which he carries in a DAILY DEPLOY 48 PACK
WHY ARE YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT WHAT YOU DO?
“As an instructor for working at height it is important to stay up to date with the latest systems and innovative, new gear. So for me, there are plenty of reasons to experiment with my equipment! And as member in a rope rescue association we train during the weekend too!”
WHAT DOES "BEING READY" OR "BEING PREPARED" MEAN FOR YOU?
“My days are quite similar but really different at the same time…. one day I am inside a wind turbine, the day after on a roof, another on a scaffold and then I may finish the week on a tower… so my go-bag needs to be perfect for all these situations. And during the weekend I grab it again to take it for training with the rope rescue association.”

WHY DO YOU HAVE A GO-BAG AND WHEN DO YOU USE IT?
“My go-bag is always packed with my essentials, so I can quickly adapt it to the situation at hand.”
WHAT ARE YOUR 3 MOST IMPORTANT ITEMS IN YOUR GO-BAG AND WHY?
“The correct harness depending on the mission, helmet and lanyards (PPE) because safety is the most important thing you have to deal with.”
