WHY ARE YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT WHAT YOU DO?

“After practice I am tired, my body is sore but I always end up with a smile on my face. That is reason enough for me. I put in many hours every week and I train hard simply because I love it. The competition element is motivating me to challenge myself and test my physical boundaries. Sometimes I should practice things that I don’t really like to do, but then it is always great to team up with some training buddies and add that extra competition element to it.”

WHAT DOES "BEING READY" OR "BEING PREPARED" MEAN FOR YOU?

“Whether it is more serious things or just a cool opportunity to train or experience new things - always being ready means everything to me. The important thing for me is to not find myself in a situation where I am not able to take action. I do not know what will happen in an hour or tomorrow, or in 14 days but I like to do what I can to be at the forefront and prepare to be as flexible as possible. I feel that OCR helps to mentally become stronger and better prepared for life’s challenges and opportunities.”

WHY DO YOU HAVE A GO-BAG AND WHEN DO YOU USE IT?

“My go-bag is always by my side because I want to have my training tools with me, so I can train anywhere and anytime if the opportunity arises. With a bit of creativity OCR can be practiced anywhere. I love the idea that my bag holds everything, so I do not have to spend time packing it every day, and it really holds far more than it seems. I even bring it on my holidays and for big competitions packed with essential things for a great workout.”
