Der Skyhawk-Gürtel ist leicht, robust und komplett metallfrei. Er wird mit einer sorgfältig entwickelten, speziell angefertigten, thermoplastischen Seitenschnalle geschlossen. Die Hybridschnalle lässt sich leicht in die Gürtelschlaufen einführen, ohne dass sie entfernt werden muss. Der Gürtel selbst besteht aus doppellagigem, vorgeformtem Nylongewebe mit schweren Bartacknähten und dreireihiger Nahtverstärkung.
