Is there thoughts of adding more color choices? I have 5 of these for the fire service, and love them. I also work in DOT, which requires us to wear hi vis uniforms. Would love the option to buy these in hi vis as a choice to keep warm while working DOT, and even with the fire dept, during winter months.
I ordered one of these through my department, along with a soft shell jacket. I figured that since all of my other 5.11 products have lasted quite a long time (mostly pants and boots), this would be no different. After only 4 months of intermittent wear while on duty, I already have numerous holes in both sleeves along the inner seams. It probably won't last for another month, and at $75 after our embroidery, I don't think I'll be ordering another one that won't even last through the winter season.
I am about to purchase my 3 one. Everyone in my department has one. Very warm in the winter and very comfortable to wear over a vest.
Have had this for about 10 months and I love it. Extremely warm. Fits over other clothing well and does its job. It holds up and the one I have has not faded or turned off even a little bit. Wear it almost every day. I have the Fire Navy version with a patch that embroidered very nicely.
I have had my gray 5.11 job shirt for about a month now. So far I am not happy with it. With this shirt being my first job shirt from 5.11 I can say that it does not hold up like other job shirts that I have purchased in the past from other companies. After reading reviews on this site I purchased gray to avoid the fading problem. With that said after a few washes and about a month of on the job wear I have noticed small fuzz balls throughout the shirt, similar to what you would find on a cheap walmart sweat shirt. The detail is very nice, but I was expecting more from 5.11. If I had not gotten the job shirt customized for work I would return it. I will not buy again.
Awesome job shirt fits great shipping excellent will by more material is great for law enforcement!!!
I bought this as an alternative to the traditional uniform sweater. My department has been moving toward more of a tactical look in uniforms. This shirt compliments the 5.11 BDU pants, it looks sharp, its comfortable, and keeps me warm. Couldn't ask for more.
I'm the Quartermaster at my department, and I'm getting complaints of these running small on guys. We have one guy that ordered an XL tall. The tag had tall hand written on it, and was exactly the same size as the XL. Looking for other job shirt brands now.
Bought this as a gift for my wife to wear when she instructs Taser classes. Had the Taser logo embroidered on it, and it looks sharp. The job shirt looks casual as well as professional. Another outstanding product from 5.11.
We received these as part of the agency uniform. The customization is nicely done with reflective writing on the back and embroidery on the front.
These shirts looked beautiful about 6-7 months ago when they were issued to all of us. And although they evade wrinkling and collar problems ... these fade a lot. Everyone seems to have a different hue of navy blue. As for me, I wash in cold and dry on low (inside out) and I am still fading.
I am seeing different shades from navy, to purple hues ... they don't look as good on the corps members as they initially did.
