WAY OVERPRICED. After about a year of rotating a batch of these for daily use, the white color has gotten a bit gray and the material is starting to show little balls of material on different parts of the shirt where anything else makes contact (belt line, collar, body armor velcro). I don't think the underarm venting really works or adds anything to the shirt. There are alot of "sport" companies who make similar shirts for the same high mark-up. I just discovered for $12 (not including a discount if you order up to a certain $ amount) you can get Hanes Cool Dri tagless Men's T-Shirts, which are exactly the same material (with a better, fatter collar), minus the undderarm "vents". Only restriction is the colors: white, navy and black. Save your money, there is nothing special about this shirt.
These shirts have been good compared to the issued shirts. The one big down side is two out of the three that I bought have a lot of pulled threads from washing. Other than that it is a light and good feeling shirt.
These are my go to undershirts in warm and humid weather and long operational days. Comfortable with uniforms and business clothes. Pricey but worth it...please offer a discount for purchase of multiples.
These are great shirts, I purchased 3 of them and already plan on getting a few more. In the hot weather they feel like your not even wearing a shirt! I plan on using them for layering in the cooler weather as well.
Wear this as a daily undershirt in uniform. Is an excellent feeling shirt, stays dry and comfortable all day. Breathes well. The best shirt i have worn under body armor. I prefer it to the tight crew and muscle mapping shirts. Problems:
1. Comes untucked very easily due to short length. To make matters worse I had to order a size small as the loose fit is way too loose. Body needs to be 1 1/2-2" longer.
2. Neck is huge, thankfully it doesn't stretch much, but it was yet another reason I had to order a size smaller. Even then the neck needs to be a bit tighter and tends to sag too much.
I'm 6'2" 42 chest 16.5" neck.
Extremely breathable. Exactly what I was looking for in an undershirt. Comparing these to the UA charged cotton shirts, which I count as very good cotton shirts.
This shirt breaths better, feels lighter, and wicks away sweat better.
Simple as that. Improvement over cotton shirts. If it's 100+ out, and you're looking for every bit of extra relief you can find, I would suggest trying these out.
Or maybe the compression shirts if you prefer that fit.
The collar stays true to form. It will not creep down below the vest line in the front as the day goes on.
Feels like you are wearing a simple T-shirt under your uniform but with the cooling and wicking of the tighter fit shirt.
Excelent sumer time shirt
Everything they say about this shirt is true. It's far better than a cotton t-shirt when used under body armor. Its silky smooth and allows the body armor to move with your movements rather than bind up on a wet cotton fabric.
