I carry a 1911 everyday with several other pieces of equipment on this belt everyday. I've had Blackhawk belts and while they are half the price of this no thanks. This belt is the best duty belt in my personal opinion and I'd buy it again but after 2 years of hard use mine still feels as solid as when I bought it. There's no telling how long this thing will last me.
This is my second duty belt...and my last. Good stiffness and while the double-retention keepers were puzzling at first, they function well to keep all my gear spaced properly; no more shifting when entering or exiting vehicles! The hook-and-loop interface between inner and outer belts holds on well, and the "interesting" front buckle feels secure and tight. Very satisfied. Now about those Zero-G plates.... :D
Excellent choice for prepared law enforcement officer, police instructor and etc. I'm using this belt on duty 4 years and i recommend it.
Bought this for 3 Gun competition. Thought this was too wide at first but BladeTech Accessories fit perfect . No play at all.
This belt is great. I have used it for training and work. I love this belt. I've really got nothing bad to say.
Sierra Bravo Duty Belt Kit
SIERRA BRAVO DUTY BELT KIT
This has been the best belt my son has used.
I just got mine in the mail today. Both belts and the keepers are made from high-quality high grade nylon. The internal belt fits great. The duty belt is adjustable and fits snugly over the internal belt. The duty belt is nice and firm so it won't bend under the weight of your duty gear. The kit comes with 4 keepers that are a hybrid Velcro/Snap that fit securely and won't open up. Overall this set up looks and feels great . I am extremely happy with this purchase and will be reordering it in the future.
I definitely love this belt, tried 5 belts before this. I am able to run, jump and even weigh it down with gear. Even able to lock my phone holster between the Velcro and belt since the clip is too small to fit over the belt.
I use the product as an EMT. I have a glove pouch, Radio, trauma shears, and a tourinquet all on the belt. It's not a bad belt. It holds all of the equipment I need and I don't feel that it is going to break any time soon. That being said, I really haven't been "WOWed" by it.
The buckle design is really poor for me. I have used various other duty belts and they have all had buckles that are thick and let you know they can hold the weight of what you need. This buckle seems like it's made from thin plastic and I'm worried that it will break at some point.
The belt itself is really thin. It's nice because it makes it much less bulky but it also means that pouches made to fit on duty belts (or clips) don't secure as well as they should.
I does come with a velcro liner to help keep things in place, but they put the rough velcro on the inside of the belt and the liner has the soft velcro. It is annoying because it chaffs my belt loops and also it doesn't play nice with my Rigger Belt since the belt has the soft velcro exposed.
OVERALL: I wouldn't recommend this to a friend. I'd recommend a duty belt to any Emergency Service Personel but not this one.
Best duty belt so far! A lot more room than the other belts and a lot more flexible. I like how the belt adjustments are far more better than the others. I will buy again!!
