5.11 TACTICAL GIVEAWAY RULES
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN
A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING
1. HOW TO ENTER.
Participants may enter the Social Media Giveaway (“Giveaway”) being offered and promoted by 5.11, Inc. doing business as 5.11 Tactical (“5.11”) via Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, or Facebook as designated within the original Giveaway post.
The active dates for the Giveaway will be specified in the original Giveaway post or website landing page. All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. PT on the final specified date. Normal Internet access and usage charges imposed by your on-line service will apply.
2. USE OF DATA.
In connection with the Giveaway, 5.11 will collect the personal information of selected winners. Such information will be collected by 5.11 personnel located within the United States and only be used to ship or fulfill prize obligations. Personal information will not be retained or used for any other purpose. Participants located outside of the United States understand that all personal information provided by winners will be used and stored within the United States until the delivery of prize is confirmed by winner. By participating in the Giveaway, participants acknowledge and agree to these Giveaway Rules and all winners expressly consent to the collection and use of their personal information as set forth within this Section.
3. ELIGIBILITY.
Participants must be 18 years of age at the time of entry. The Giveaway is void where prohibited by law. Employees of 5.11 and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotion agencies are not eligible, nor are members of these employees’ families.
4. SELECTION OF POTENTIAL WINNERS.
Potential winners will be notified via direct message within 30 days of the end of the Giveaway closing date. 5.11’s decisions as to all matters related to administration of the Giveaway and selection of winner is final. The potential winners must comply with all terms and conditions set forth in these Official Rules, and winning and the awarding of prizes are contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. If a potential winner cannot be contacted within 72 hours after the first attempt to contact such potential winner, then an alternate winner will be selected at random. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
5. PRIZES.
5.11 will be giving away one prize as identified within the original Giveaway post. This prize is non-transferrable and may not be substituted or exchanged for other 5.11 products. Total prize value not to exceed $5.99 USD. 5.11 reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable value in its sole discretion. Additional restrictions or requirements may apply.
Any and all country or local taxes related to the prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Prizes values at $600 or greater will be contingent upon 5.11’s receipt of winner’s completed IRS W9 form. All other expenses and costs, not expressly included above, are the winner’s sole responsibility. No refunds or credit for changes are allowed.
6. PUBLICITY.
Except where prohibited by law, each winner grants to 5.11 and its designees the right to use and publish such winner’s photo, proper name, likeness, voice, opinions, testimonials, biographical information, town and state of residence, and any photographs or images taken by such winner with equipment provided by 5.11 in any media to promote 5.11 and the Giveaway without additional compensation, permission, or notification.
7. RELEASE.
By entering the Giveaway, participants agree to release, and indemnity and hold harmless 5.11, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, or Instagram, and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents from and against any and all losses, damages, claims, or causes of actions of any kind arising, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, out of entrant’s participation in the Giveaway and/or resulting, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize awarded in connection with the Giveaway, including, without limitation, personal injury, death, and/or property damage, as well as claims based on publicity rights, defamation, and/or invasion of privacy.
8. GENERAL CONDITIONS.
The Giveaway is governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California. The Giveaway is void where prohibited.
9. SPONSOR.
The Sponsor of this Giveaway is 5.11, Inc. The Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, or Instagram. Participants may contact 5.11 at Social@511Tactical.com.
