I rotate 6 pairs of these socks throughout the work week and wear them with 5.11 trainers. I have worn out 3 pairs within 1 year of purchase. Holes on the toes and heels. Never had these problems with the level 1 socks. I would not recommend these to anyone. Even in Hawaii, this sock isnt worth the lighter weight because you will have to replace them much sooner.
They are the best.
I expected a bit more from these socks given the price and description. They, unfortunately, have not held up to infrequent wear and have pilling (after less than a month). Like a poorly made sweater that pills -- these fall in the same category and do not hold up to even delicate washing and low drying (even inside out). I have about 6 pair and I definitely won't be purchasing more.
Got these from a friend and they feel great and are nice cool socks.
I have been using these socks for many years and have just loved them as a great summer sock. In the past year the last two orders were too tight around the calf for me to wear. I gave them to my 15 year old. I am 5"10 and can not use them any longer. the thick green ones still fit fantastic but are to hot for the warmer Texas months. I hope 511 gets this corrected.
This product is on our uniform supply, and I was excited to finally see high-quality gear available to us. However, after 2-3 months the sock all had holes in the heel. I have maybe 5 pairs and they all have holes. Also, the length is not 9", more like 12" or so. They go all the way up to the tops of my shins like soccer socks.
I really like these socks, but after going through several pairs it is clear that something needs to be done to make the heel area more durable. I don't mind paying a premium price for something that justifies it, but when a sock like this falls apart way before a cheap one from [...] does, then something is wrong.
The socks are good for hot weather as they are thin and breathable. However my biggest problem is the heel/ankle wears down much too quickly. As you can see, the extra material in WHITE only goes on the bottom of the heel. If the material was used about a inch or so higher, it would be much more durable.
I have 6 pairs of these socks and all have holes in the same spot.
I will be replacing these socks with something else.
They are durable and fit well. My only complaint is that they aren't over the calf socks. I also have the cold weather version of these and they go all the way up to my knee. These socks only go up 3/4 of the way to my knee so they don't stay up, they fall down over time which is annoying. I dont understand how the cold weather 9" socks go all the way up to my knee, but the warm weather ones which are also 9" dont.
great socks, but one time use kinda thing... I had two pairs, and by the third time I had to start wrapping the front with duct tape...
just like the boots, super comfortable, but just not durable...
idk... maybe I do something weird, it just hasn't lasted for me...
even my boots, one day the sole came clean off...
on the question that says ( I have used this product for ) I selected less than a month because it didn't last past a month....
