Don't buy

Don't buy – Very disappointed with this product. Coming from VTAC and 5.11 this really is a poor offering. I purchased 2 of these to replace a couple of standard 2 point sling I have for better weapon retention during transition from long gun to handgun during 3 gun matches.

Release for the sling come with a 3" long piece of paracord when measured end to end. Installed it was approximately 1 ½" and impossible to reach and or manipulate.

General overall feel is airsoft quality.

The other sling is still unopened in the package and I will be returning it for a refund. Again, very disappointed with the quality.

Simple but effective

Put this on my AR-15 to replace a 3 point sling I had been happy with. I have been happier with the 2 point sling because it allows faster switching between positions and allows more positions where the gun isn't flopping around.

"where have you been all my life?"

I have been using a single point sling for years thinking it was the best out there. After a recent carbine class by Bennie Cooley, I realized that the two point was the best for transitions and it freed my hands when stored on my back. As a tac-med this is really important. One quick pull and it's secured across my back, and another quick pull and it's "game on".

Awesome great product

Great Sling for the Price

I have these slings on a carbine and a shotgun, and find them intuitive to use, allowing you to pull your gear close but bring it to bear quickly. Once mastered, sling extension and retraction is quite intuitive. The material feels like narrow and thicker seat belt material.

One drawback is that it does not include clips for sling mount points, so you need to buy some or figure out some other way to mount the sling to the weapon.

The other caveat is that for heavier weapons, the sling without the padding may be uncomfortable when not worn with a tactical vest or body armor.

Great Sling, differs from sling pictured

I installed this on an AR platform, works well as intended. Well thought out in design, fits my average frame, seems adjustable enough to fit larger. A little uncomfortable snugged in tight without at least a vest or armor.

Did not include the D ring nor a place to install one, as pictured above. Also, the release pigtail was just a piece of nylon line with an overhand knot; it did not have the plastic tab on the end as shown in the picture and video on the website. I still like the sling and am considering the padded variety for an M14 platform to replace my old websling.

Had to rate 4 stars only because the products differs from advertisement.
