I have four pair of these pants and they hold up very well to the rigors of railroading. Highly recommend these for outdoor use.
...to anything but tacticals. These trousers (not pants) have been my staple since I bought my first pair thirteen years ago. I have worn them in every clime and place and they are the most comfortable and practical trousers I have ever worn. You have me for life and I hope they are never discontinued or I may have to return to the loincloth. And you do not want to see me in a loincloth...
Love the pants, I own 6 pairs of this style alone and several of the other styles in different colors.
I bought two pairs of these pants about two years ago, and have been wearing them almost every day since. I like all the pockets; the magazine pocket on the front will hold anything the size of an iPhone 5 or smaller with no problems, but anything bigger than that won't fit. That's fine with me; I keep my phone in the front hip pocket, and it's plenty big for that.
The only sign of wear on these pants is around back, where I keep an IWB holster and magazine carrier. The screws that hold the belt clips onto these holsters have worn small holes through both layers of fabric in the back of the pants. I recently switched to a different type of screw that will hopefully solve that problem in my next pair.
Overall, these pants are comfortable, durable, and functional, and I'd recommend them to anyone who wears pants.
100% cotton is a mistake
The fit was poor compared to the Traverse and Ridgeline, but I guess you get what you pay for.
Heavy material, so a bit warm in the Mojave summer months, but great in the high desert winters. Overall, my favorite 5.11 pant. What is the woven strap over the back right pocket for, though?
Grabbed one pair for a shooting class and cant get enough. Perfect for self defense and hard wear. Slash pockets keep wallets and such from being uncomfortable when seated and all pockets are perfect for their purpose. Can't put a hole in them if I tried. Perfect.
I have been wearing these pants for several weeks. I am impressed with the quality. They fit nice. I was looking for a pant that was durable like jeans but look like business casual. I bought another pair. They are replacing my Dockers.
Yes I paid a lot of money for these Coyote tan tactical pants. They were comfortable, durable, and easy to wash without fading or shrinking. Took these pants out to the range and used them for outdoor activities like a little rucksack march along with an outdoor activity for school in my biology class. Got pretty muddy out at both the range and while doing an outdoor project. Thanks 511 Tactical for your time and the quality of your products
Purchased 1 pair for my son. They are now his favorite. He hardly takes them off long enough to wash. Purchasing several more pairs now. Well worth the $. He's been wearing them nearly non-stop for the months, and still look brand new. - one happy mom
