I have been a CCWP holder for the pat fifteen years and have carried various firearms IWB and OWB with a variety of belts including leather, nylon, and DCU Army issue, and this is far and away the best tactical belt I have worn. It is completely dependable in being stiff enough avoid deforming, yet flexible enough to remain comfortable when worn all day long. IMO, stylish, too. Highly recommended!
It's generally airport-friendly - I've had one instance of TSA wanting to pat me down after going through the millimeter wave scanner. It's nice being able to go through security without undressing. Holds my holsters without a problem. As others have noted, the thickness of the belt makes it difficult to make very small adjustments, but after some experience with it, I've figured out how to get it right most of the time.
I have had this belt for several weeks now. Like many others I've had problems with minor adjustments. But what I've done is to grove the inside of the buckles on both sides with my knife. This little thing took about 5 minutes and has solved the problem. They really should stipple the inside or rough it up some way, works much better.
It is hard at the beginning but once you start using it gets softer and easier to use.
The belt is made of very high-quality materials and love the way it looks.
I like and I will buy it
I had 5.11 pant so I need this belt
I agree with what others have said that it's difficult to tighten it once it's on but other than that, I like the belt. Very sturdy, comfortable, etc. The reverse color option is cool but I bought the belt because I wanted a belt that was strong and reliable for casual wear and this belt met the mark.
Great belt for EDC but once you put it on, it is difficult to adjust the size by small amounts. The buckle doesn't slide at all. Very rigid. I like the belt just hard to loosen or tighten without starting over.
Belt is one of the toughest belt's I've owned. I like that it's reversible to match khaki or whatever color pants I wear. The only issue with the belt was small sharp edges on the nylon where they melted the edges, I kept cutting my hand on it. Quickly fixed with a lighter and screwdriver just heat the corner and push it flat with the flat head screwdriver.
bought one to try, I now have four of these and other 5.11 belts, I'm usually a leather guy, but I like the way these belts are made, strong and hold their shape better than leather, IMHO, I now have 5.11 belts in 1 1/2" and 1 3/4" widths to accommodate the different holsters and guns I wear at different times, I highly recommend these belts, bottom line, these are quality belts period…..I also like this belt for casual wear, it has a nice buckle that works well and is easy to use, black on one side and tan on the other is a nice feature to...
