They ripped at the seems the very first time I wore them!
I am a soldier and got these gloves for basic everyday use in the field, and I was very satisfied for the first couple of months. These would have been my favorite gloves I've owned if it weren't for the cloth ripping apart on both of the thumbs. This could be easily prevented if they surrounded the thumb in leather like they did with the rest of the fingers.
Great product worked well for hunting using shotgun without getting snagged during reloading.
I use the gloves for work, driving, and writing notes when outside. They are snug, almost too tight. As they wear in though they seem to go on easier.
I use these gloves for pushing my wheelchair and driving and I will be ordering some of the other gloves from you at a later time....
Got these for cold weathr shooting at our range. Good weight for good feel of trigger, but not the warmest.
Wore these through many field problems, training exercises and ranges. Just ordered a new pair for my next deployment. These gloves are truly well made.
as mentioned above i'm a c130 aircrew member and i got these for work. they're fine for conus missions but these things wouldn't last a day in the aor. the pull tabs are way too fragile and the gloves are about 1 size too small. they have leather in all the right places and the wrap around seams on the the fingertips place them a notch above flying gloves. however, the leather is too thin and the pull tab needs to be beefed up because when you start sweating and breaking the fabric down those pull tabs will be the first thing to go. i just wish someone would make a work/ flying glove that would last. 511 has made the best attempt so far.
Protected my hands well from the environment and weapon systems, provided good grip on M4's and M249's. The pull tab is much too fragile and this product should be purchased a size large in order to minimize the chance of the seams tearing from the glove. The leather on the palm could be a little thicker too as I've noticed a tear from actuating m249 charging handles.
i use these gloves for shooting mostly. charging mags is a breeze with these gloves. if it gets cold out at the range ill wear these gloves just for warmth. i ordered a medium but should have got the large. kinda hard to get on. One time doing some pistol manipulation drills on the range, i tore some hand flesh. instead of proper bandage, i just through the gloves on. stoped the bleeding.
