I'm thrilled to finally get a tactical-grade, legit M-65-styled jacket that is proportioned for a woman! I've wanted one for at least a decade.
The quality is superb and the fit (in my S) is just roomy enough for layers as the temperatures drop. I can even start sporting all the morale patches I've accumulated and used exclusively on my bags.
Of course, there had to be some pink involved (as with most female- sized camo/tactical items), but it's the lining, so not a deal-breaker. I'm hoping future iterations of this design will be pink-free.
I will be wearing this a lot on my outdoor adventures this fall, and will likely get another one in a different color.
I put this jacket on and fell in love. It looks just military enough while being feminine with a trim cut. The pockets are roomy and usable. Fabric seems extra durable like all 5.11 products.
I love the jacket and was so pleased to have it arrive. But when I put a on a belt, holster, and gun, I found that the concealed opening was too low. If the gun were at my appendix level, it would have been perfect. As it is, by the time you work your way up enough it get the gun, the activity is far from concealed. I think the only change that needs to be made is to make the pocket bigger with the opening starting higher.
As it is, I will carry a small gun in the pocket.
And await an improved design.
The quality appears excellent, and the fit is trim.
